SQL Server DBA - Database Administrator - Surrey - PERMANENT - £40,000-£55,000

Our client requires a database administrator to join a small team working on the build, maintenance and support of its MS SQL and My SQL server databases across the Company's production, recovery and development test platforms.
The role will involve cross-training to Oracle
Essential Skills:
-Thorough knowledge of Windows Operating System
- A minimum of 4 years supporting or developing MS SQL and MySQL databases running on windows platforms
-Working knowledge of server clustering, backup, log shipping, optimization, system recovery, and replication and mirroring in MS Sql environments running MS SQL 2000, 2005, 2008
- Deployment, configuration and use of Performance Analysis and Foglight, or equivalent tools.
Desired Skills:
- Windows programming skills
-Oracle 10g and/or 11g dba experience
- Linux/ Red Hat
