Earning Potential

How much can I earn?

The greatest variable to success is you, the licensee. Running a CPV site is undeniably hard work: we ensure that the car park is busy and customer take-up should be excellent but the licensee’s personality and drive is what will make the difference between a moderately successful site and a very lucrative business. Customers need to be won and kept, staff need to be trained and monitored, margins need to be watched, workflow needs to be optimized, standards need to be maintained.

CPV provides comprehensive training prior to launching and a subsequent support Programme but nothing is more important than the attitude and commitment of the licensee.

Do I have to be on-site during all opening hours?

The success of CPV is based on its reputation for quality. That is why we will provide you with rigorous initial and on-going training. To maintain our quality standards we insist that during their operation hours, either the CPV franchisee/ licensee or someone who has been trained on CPV’s intensive residential training course as a ‘CPV Site Manager’ is in attendance and supervising operations. This is why the licence fee includes the cost of training one of the licensee’s employees as ‘CPV Site Managers’. As their business grows, CPV licensee's can also pay for additional employees to be trained as ‘CPV Site Managers’.

Can I become a licensee of more than one site?

Absolutely, subject to the licensee or one of his CPV Site Managers (see previous question and answer) always being in attendance and supervising operations at each site. If you are running a good site and want to buy another, we will try to locate a site as quickly as possible. There are no time restrictions or limitations on building up your business – the more successful you are, the more successful we are. CPV always prioritises building the businesses of existing licensees before recruiting new licensees. However, we usually limit the total number of sites per licensee to 5, as experience shows that it becomes too difficult to manage a cash business across multiple sites and disparate locations.

What happens if I want to sell the business?

You are free to sell your business at any time. Please note however that CPV must interview the candidate and make the final decision on his/her suitability to run the business. CPV will not unreasonably withhold consent to sell. There is an administration charge.
